GTPCL is currently working towards the development of hospitality, infrastructure, and tourism facilities in the vicinity of the Statue of Unity. The project aims to assist the surrounding villages and communities around Statue of Unity with sustainable growth and development to keep up the pace with the increasing activity at this international tourist spot, while retaining its social & cultural identity.
GTPCL is assisting Himmatnagar Urban Development Authority for organized development of the rapidly growing city and its peripheral areas. The comprehensive Development Plan is prepared with consideration of the town characteristics, challenges & opportunities of the local area, growing industrial development, increasing population, and location on the busy National Highway. The process also involves revisiting the existing Development Plan for upcoming developments and incorporating neighbourhood network.
GTPCL is entrusted with the task of preparing Development Plan for Lothal Area Development Authority. The development plan needs to encompass various factors such as Historical Significance, Heritage Infrastructure Preservation, Sustainability, Community Engagement and Economic Development through the establishment of a development authority. The planning focuses on local area development with preservation of local culture and heritage.
GTPCL is leading the strategic and sustainable development of the Dwarka-Okha region, situated in Gujarat. Recognized for its religious, cultural, and economic significance, the project focuses on balanced urban growth through thoughtful land use planning, infrastructure enhancement, tourism development, heritage conservation, and environmental sustainability. By identifying key opportunities and challenges, GTPCL aims to implement priority interventions that support long-term regional prosperity.

The plan aims to position the region as a leading industrial hub by enhancing infrastructure, optimizing land use, and attracting investments. It emphasizes sustainable development while supporting trade, commerce, and improved quality of life.
